Terms of Service

Article 1 (Scope)

These Terms apply to all relationships between users and the Operator concerning the use of the Service.

Article 2 (Registration)

1. Users can use the Service by agreeing to these Terms and registering in the way the Operator specifies.
2. The Operator may refuse a registration if it considers the registration inappropriate, for example if the registration contains false information or the user has violated these Terms in the past.

Article 3 (Account management)

1. Users are responsible for managing their own email address and password.
2. Users may not let a third party use their account, or transfer or lend their account to anyone.
3. Any use after logging in with a registered email address and password is deemed to be use by the registered user.

Article 4 (Fees)

The Service is free to use. If paid features are added in the future, they will be announced on the Service in advance, and fees will be charged only if the user agrees.

Article 5 (Prohibited acts)

When using the Service, users must not:

1. violate laws or public order and morals;
2. engage in acts related to criminal activity;
3. place an excessive load on the Service's servers or networks, or interfere with its operation;
4. gain unauthorized access, or wrongfully use another user's account or information;
5. register or access the Service in large volumes by automated means; or
6. engage in any other act that the Operator considers inappropriate.

Article 6 (Your data)

1. The budget data that users register on the Service belongs to the users.
2. The Operator handles the data only to the extent necessary to provide and improve the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. The Operator works to prevent data loss but does not guarantee that data will be kept completely. Please also keep a copy of important data using the CSV or Excel download feature.

Article 7 (Changes, suspension and termination of the Service)

1. The Operator may change the content of the Service without notifying users in advance.
2. The Operator may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service for system maintenance, failures, natural disasters or other unavoidable reasons.
3. The Operator may end the Service. In that case, it will announce this on the Service with a reasonable period of notice so that users can download their data.

Article 8 (Suspension of use and deletion of registration)

If a user violates these Terms, the Operator may suspend the user's use of the Service or delete the user's registration without prior notice.

Article 9 (Deleting your account)

Users can delete their account at any time from the account settings page. Deleting an account deletes the account and all registered data, and this cannot be undone.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

1. The Service helps users record and total their household finances. Balances and totals shown are based on what users enter, and the Operator does not guarantee their accuracy or their fitness for any particular purpose.
2. The Service does not provide investment, tax or any other financial advice.
3. The Operator is not liable for any damage that users suffer from using the Service, except where caused by the Operator's intent or gross negligence.

Article 11 (Changes to these Terms)

The Operator may change these Terms when it considers it necessary. When it does, it will announce the new Terms and their effective date on the Service. Users who use the Service on or after the effective date are deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms.

Article 12 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute concerning the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction, in the first instance, of the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's place of residence.
